eZyPill is owned and operated by Pers Inventions Inc.

eZyPill deeply values your privacy and the protection of your personal data. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we collect and use it, how consent is obtained, how long information is retained, and who may access it when you use our services or visit our website (https://ezypill.ca).

By using our services, you accept the practices described in this privacy policy. This policy is governed by the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA)

1. Definitions

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

• “eZyPill” refers to eZyPill Delivery Solutions and its delivery platform, including the order portal, driver application, and administrative systems.
• “Partner Pharmacy” refers to pharmacies that use eZyPill to manage and dispatch deliveries for their patients.
• “Patient” or “Recipient” refers to the individual receiving a delivery.​
• “Driver” refers to authorized delivery personnel contracted by eZyPill.
• “Personal Data” means information that identifies an individual, such as name, address, or telephone number.
• “Operational Data” means non-identifying logistics and service-related information.

3. Consent

eZyPill collects only the personal information necessary to perform its delivery services, typically provided through partner pharmacies. Consent may be obtained directly from individuals or through partner pharmacies acting as authorized intermediaries, in accordance with PIPEDA.

Consent may be withdrawn at any time, subject to legal or contractual limitations. Withdrawal of consent may affect our ability to complete deliveries.

4. Types of Information Collected

4.1 Partner Pharmacy Information

• Business name and address
• Authorized contact details
• Account and billing information

 

4.2 Patient Information

• Name
• Delivery address
• Telephone number

eZyPill does not collect or store medical, prescription, or health information.

4.3 Order and Logistics Information

• Order identifiers
• Delivery status and confirmation
• Non-confidential delivery instructions

 

4.4 Website and Platform Information

• IP address
• Browser and device information
• Usage and interaction data

 

4.5 Driver Application Data

• Operational delivery data required to manage and confirm deliveries

 

4.6 Payment Information

Billing and payment information is processed by third-party payment providers. eZyPill does not store credit card information.

5. Retention of Information

Personal information is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill service purposes and legal obligations.

• Order records: retained for up to six (6) months after completion.
• Patient information: retained only while required to provide delivery services.
• Pharmacy account information: retained for the duration of the business relationship and for a reasonable period thereafter for administrative purposes.

Information is securely deleted or anonymized when no longer required.

6. Purposes of Use

Information is used solely to:

• Provide and manage delivery services
• Communicate with pharmacies, patients, and drivers
• Ensure service accuracy, security, and accountability
• Meet legal and administrative requirements

Personal information is not used for advertising or unrelated purposes.

7. Access and Disclosure

Access to information is limited to:

• Authorized eZyPill personnel
• Delivery drivers (limited to what is required for delivery)
• Partner pharmacies (their own orders only)
• Third-party service providers acting on our behalf under confidentiality obligations

7.1 Service Communications

7.2 Marketing Communications

Marketing communications, if any, are sent only where permitted by law and, where required, with express consent. Opt-out options are always provided.

7.3 Analytics

Analytics tools may be used to improve website performance and security. They are not used for targeted advertising based on sensitive personal information.

8. Data Storage and Safeguards

Personal information is stored on secure systems using reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. Access is restricted to authorized personnel only.

9. Data Breaches

In the event of a breach posing a real risk of significant harm, eZyPill will notify affected individuals as soon as reasonably possible. Where required by law, eZyPill will notify the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada and maintain records of security breaches in accordance with legal requirements.

10. International Processing

Information may be processed or stored outside Canada. Reasonable safeguards are applied to protect information in cross-border processing.

11. Individual Rights

Individuals have the right to:

• Access their personal information
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Withdraw consent (subject to limitations)
• File a complaint with eZyPill or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada

12. Children’s Privacy

eZyPill does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 years of age.

13. Third-Party Links

This policy does not apply to third-party websites or services.
