1. Chain of Custody TrackingRequirement: Full tracking from pharmacy → patientOur Action:

All deliveries are tracked in our system, including:

Pickup time: Drivers mark pickup on their mobile device; timestamp is recorded and viewable by the pharmacy in the eZyPill portal

Delivery time: Drivers mark delivery on their mobile device; timestamp is recorded and viewable by the pharmacy in the eZyPill portal

Driver identity: Each order is assigned to a specific driver; driver name is visible in the portal

Delivery status: Real-time delivery status updates are available in the ordering portal as drivers complete each step

 

 

2. Signature CollectionRequirement: Signature upon deliveryOur Action:

Digital signature is collected on the driver’s phone at delivery

Delivery is not marked complete without a recipient signature

Drivers also confirm and sign off upon pickup

 

3. Secure Delivery (No Unattended Drops)

Requirement: No unattended delivery

Our Action:

All deliveries are completed hand-to-hand only

Drivers are strictly instructed not to leave packages at doors, mailboxes, or vehicles

 

4. Driver Authorization & ControlsRequirement: Verified and trained personnel

Our Action:

Drivers assigned to controlled substance deliveries are approved and trained

Drivers carry identification and delivery authorization

 

5. Transportation Security

Requirement: Maintain control during transit

Our Action:

Packages remain with the driver at all times in a secure container

Drivers are instructed never to leave items unattended or unsecured

 

6. Failed Delivery HandlingRequirement: Return undelivered medication

Our Action:

Any failed delivery is returned to the pharmacy the same day

Return is logged in the system with reason and timestamp

 

7. Incident ReportingRequirement: Report loss/theft

Our Action:

Drivers must immediately report any issue to dispatch

All incidents are documented and escalated to the pharmacy

 

8. Documentation & Audit Readiness Requirement: Records must be retrievable

Our Action:

All delivery records are stored digitally in the eZyPill portal

Records can be accessed by pharmacy partners when required

 

9. Privacy & Confidentiality

Requirement: Protect patient information

Our Action:

Customer information is used strictly for delivery purposes

Access is restricted to authorized personnel only
