Getting started with eZyPill is simple. Once set up, your delivery operations become more efficient and predictable, while maintaining consistent service standards every day. Our goal is to remove the daily coordination burden from your team while ensuring reliable, high-quality care for your patients.
1. Getting Started
We begin by onboarding your pharmacy and understanding your current delivery workflow and service standards.
At this stage, we establish a delivery structure tailored to your needs. For example, some orders may require temperature control, some patients may need to pay at the door, or certain medications may require special handling.
You can sign up online at any time; however, your account will only become active once we review your requirements together and finalize the service agreement.
2. Using the Portal
Our portal is designed to be simple and efficient.
You will first create your patient list. This can be done individually or by uploading a spreadsheet to add multiple patients at once.
Once patients are added, you can create orders for each patient — either one-time or recurring. For recurring orders, the system will remember the schedule and automatically activate them on the set dates.
After submitting orders, you only need to ensure they are prepared and ready for pickup.
3. Order Processing & Dispatch
Once an order is submitted, it is received by our system and prepared for dispatch.
-
For on-demand orders, a driver is assigned with a pickup window (typically within 2 hours)
-
For scheduled orders, deliveries are automatically grouped and assigned based on the pre-set schedule
Each pharmacy is assigned a dedicated driver, ensuring consistency, familiarity, and a smoother overall experience.
4. Pickup & Delivery
On the day of delivery, the driver arrives at your pharmacy to collect all assigned orders.
All deliveries are handled according to their specific requirements:
-
Standard medications are delivered efficiently on the same day
-
Narcotics and controlled substances are secured in lock boxes and require a signature upon delivery
-
Temperature-sensitive items are handled to maintain proper conditions throughout transit
-
For certain medications, if required, a Healthcare Professional (HCP) can be assigned to perform witness dosing at the patient’s location.
5. Tracking & Visibility
You have full visibility throughout the entire process.
Through the portal, you can:
-
View all active and upcoming orders
-
Track deliveries in real time
-
Access detailed order information and delivery status updates
This allows your team to stay informed without the need for manual follow-ups.
6. Completion & Records
Once a delivery is completed:
-
A confirmation is recorded in the system
-
Signatures (if required) are captured and securely stored
-
The order status is updated and available for your records
